2009 Honda Pilot starts at $28,230

The redesigned Honda Pilot will go on sale Thursday, May 22, with base prices ranging from $28,230 to $37,430 for the four trim lines of the eight-passenger crossover.

The prices for the 2009 Pilot represent little change from the 2008, besides the addition of the high-end Touring model. A navigation system comes standard on the base Pilot Touring, which has a sticker of $37,430. The most expensive version, which has a sticker of $40,590, includes four-wheel drive, a navigation system and a rear entertainment package.

The most expensive 2008 Pilot had a base price of $36,280.

Honda also is replacing 2008's Pilot Value Package with the low-end Pilot LX, which starts at $28,230.

All prices include shipping.
